Marina Manners and Etiquette

Customers are asked to please tie their halyards back from the mast to avoid unnecessary noise in this mixed environment.  Please do not pump bilge water or contaminates into the marina.  Your assistance in these matters is greatly appreciated by the management and other boat owners.  Please note that there is a speed limit of 4 knots and young children should be supervised at all times for safety.

Berth holders and visitors may park in Northside pay and display car park.  Also car parks adjacent to the bridgehead gates.  Long stay car parking will be available within our boatyard throughout the summer months.  Please display your parking permit sticker, available from reception.  Owners are reminded to secure their vehicles and remove any valuables when unattended.

We have a 20 ton Marine Travel Hoist available.  A crane facility is also available for masts etc.  The yard has various businesses that undertake hull, GRP, wood, engineering and electrical repairs.  Free storage ashore is offered to annual berthholders ashore for a limited period (space permitting)

Trolleys are available from the refuse compounds at the top of each bridgehead.  Please return your trolley for the next customer.  Domestic rubbish is to be deposited in the skips provided in sealed bags.

Within our refuse compounds and on the pontoons you can recycle: Cans, Glass, Paper/Magazines, Oil, Batteries, Wood.

A public payphone is situated close to the North side bridgehead gate in phase 1.

Allow hose pipes to run for 30 seconds before filling tanks from the pontoons.  Please recoil the hose pipes after use and do not leave the hose end in the water as this is unhygienic.
